May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the CryptoMories want to celebrate by sharing our incredible partnership with Impact Suite with other communities focused on creating a more kind, inclusive, and welcoming Web3.
The CryptoMories focus on mental health came about organically. Our community practiced acceptance from the start, but when iwwon and the team shared their own mental health challenges of past and present, it inspired others in the community to be vulnerable with their own struggles. This naturally grew into our mission. The FaMorie became a place of sharing and support, in Discord, on Twitter, and in Spaces, and we are proud to be on the forefront of supporting mental health in Web3. RxZen, who has worked in the mental health field his entire career, had the vision to take it further, and fostered a partnership with Impact Suite to provide access to mental health apps and services including free teletherapy for CryptoMories holders and their immediate families starting in the Americas and spreading globally in time.
To celebrate and to help spread these services to other communities, we have created a limited edition “CryptoMories Care” token, complete with new iwwon art, that will grant Impact Suite access to the holder. Giving this piece to partnered projects will allow someone in their community to access mental health services and hopefully begin, or continue, a conversation about mental health and the benefits of actively working on our own mental health while supporting others in their journeys through likeminded NFT communities and projects.
We are thrilled to be starting these partnerships off with The Girlies, a father-daughter project featuring beautiful artwork by talented young artist Valeria, who was just 14 years old when the project was created. The Girlies is focused on their mission to “bring more inclusivity and diversity into the NFT space while also inspiring women and young girls from all over the world to pursue art and anything they set their mind to.” They will be announcing how they will give away the token, so check with them in their Discord for the details in the coming days.
